The BCPA 2015 Annual Instructors Conference will take place on Saturday November 28, 2015 from 9:00 – 11:30 am Pacific Standard Time.
We are pleased to announce that Matt Wilson, Lee Innes, Callum Beaumont, and Steven McWhirter, head piping and drumming instructors of the Dollar Academy juvenile and novice juvenile pipe bands, will be the featured presenters in the International Instructors segment of the Conference.
We are also pleased to announce that Kevin Auld, V. Scott Parker and Marcie MacRae-MacQuarrie, head instructors of the Northwest Junior Pipe Band will be the featured presenters in the Regional Instructors segment of the Conference.
An additional presentation by a professional school teacher on effective instructional techniques utilized in the classroom that are transferable to the teaching of piping and drumming will be announced soon.
