The producer of the BC Highland Games and Scottish Festival Grand Finale would like to cordially invite all pipers and drummers under the age of 18 to participate in a Youth Massed Bands as a “Salute to the Future of Pipe Bands in BC and the Pacific Northwest.” This Youth Massed Bands event will commence at 4:00 pm as part of the Games’ Grand Finale on Saturday, June 18th. The BC Highland Games and Scottish Festival will be held at Percy Perry Stadium in Coquitlam.
The following youth pipe bands will be participating in the salute: Northwest Junior, Portland Metro Youth, Robert Malcolm Memorial, and White Spot Pipe Bands
If you are under the age of 18, are not a member of the four participating youth bands mentioned, and are interested in joining in this Youth Massed Bands event, please register as an individual by e-mailing heather@tartantown.com by Saturday June 11th.
