2021 BCPA July Online Competition Results

The results of the 2021 BCPA July Online Competition are now posted on the Results page.

The results include the aggregate winners for each grade.

Competitors’ adjudication sheets will be automatically emailed to the email address they entered with their videos for this competition.

To reduce the chances that the automated emails will be caught in the Spam/Junk folder of your email client, the emails will be metered out over several hours. However, please regularly check your Spam/Junk folder after 9:00 pm Pacific Time August 8 to ensure they are not caught there.

If you do not receive the emails containing your adjudication sheets by 11:59 pm Pacific Time August 8, please contact BCPA IT Infrastructure Leader, Garth Newlands at it.infrastructure@archive.bcpipers.org and within one day he will manually email your adjudication sheets to you.

A reminder that in lieu of medals for prizes, nominal gift vouchers for prizes won for the BCPA June and July Online Competitions, for piping & drumming items from piping & drumming suppliers which have supported the BCPA Annual Gathering and BCPA Online Performance Assessments in recent years, will be emailed out by August 15.

Also, the net proceeds (excluding prizes) of the BCPA Online Summer Competitions will be distributed equally to all the BCPA sanctioned highland games associations.

BCPA would like to thank all competitors who participated in the events by recording and uploading videos of their performances, many of whom performed outdoors recreating the environment of a highland games, the Grade 2 and 1 competitors who performed their events live at given times while recording the performances and then uploading the videos, the adjudicators who adjudicated the performances, the stewards who handled the live Grade 2 and 1 events via Zoom meetings, and the team of volunteers who made this online competition happen.

We encourage you to continue supporting events and activities being offered by BCPA region highland games associations this season and watch for upcoming information on the BCPA Player Initiated Promotions Request program.
