The 2021 ScotFestBC – The British Columbia Highland Games will be held on Friday September 3 and Saturday September 4 at Lafarge Lake Park in Coquitlam, BC.
Conducting the event in STEP 3 of the BC Restart Plan under Fairs, Festivals and Tradeshows, the United Scottish Cultural Society (sponsor of the event) Board of Directors has set the following with respect to piping, drumming and pipe band activities:
- only individual amateur piping and drumming competitions on Saturday morning
- demonstration performances by invited pipe bands on Saturday afternoon with a closing massed bands
- demonstration performances of piobaireachd by invited Open pipers on Friday night
Accordingly, there will be no Open piping & drumming competitions and no Pipe Band competitions.

Finally, in 2022, ScotFestBC – The British Columbia Highland Games will return to its traditional date in June.
