The results of the 2021 February BCPA Online Mini-Gathering are now posted on the Results page.

The results include the aggregate winners for each grade. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, BCPA will ensure the winners’ names are engraved on the Mini-Gathering Aggregate shields.

In this competition, BCPA deployed the largest number of adjudicators ever to a BCPA sanctioned competition, assigning 3 adjudicators to each piping event and 2 adjudicators to each drumming event.

The result for each event is the event panel’s consensus result and each competitor in the event will receive an adjudication sheet from each adjudicator of the event.

Competitors’ adjudication sheets and any prize certificates they have won will be automatically emailed to the email address they used to register for this competition.

The emails will be metered out over the course of the day to avoid blocking by Internet Service Providers as spam or junk email.

If you do not receive your email by the morning of March 1, check your email client’s Junk or Spam folder and if not there, please contact BCPA IT Infrastructure Leader Garth Newlands at it.infrastructure@archive.bcpipers.org

BCPA would like to thank all competitors who participated in the events by recording and uploading videos of their performances, the Grade 1 competitors who performed their events live at given times while recording the performances and then uploading the videos, the adjudicators who adjudicated the performances, the stewards who handled the live Grade 1 events via Zoom meetings, and the team of volunteers who made this online competition happen.

Finally, it is BCPA’s intention to provide a continuing competition environment during the COVID-19 pandemic and to work with our highland games associations partners to make this happen. Please watch for announcements on further developments.
