BCPA Adult Grade Rule Changes – Meeting Date Preference Survey

The BCPA has initiated rules changes that may be of interest to you and you are a past, current or future players of the Adult Grade.

On May 7, BCPA announced upcoming rule changes found here: BCPA Rules Changes for 2020 and 2021 (which had been approved in February but the announcement delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic) for the 2020 and 2021 seasons that affect Grade 5, Grade 4, and the Adult Piping grade.

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic causing the cancellation of the complete 2020 season, on June 3 the BCPA Board approved a postponement of one year in the transition to Grade 5 Junior & Senior, Grade 4 Junior & Senior, and retirement of the Adult grade.

In addition, the BCPA Board is opening up a discussion on these changes with Adult grade players.

The BCPA invites you to complete a short 2 minute survey to set a date for a online Zoom meeting, to learn about the factors that have influenced the changes in these grades, how this particularly affects the Adult grade, and most importantly its players.

The survey can be found here: BCPA Adult Grade Rule Changes – Meeting Date Preference Survey

Please complete this survey no later than June 12, 2020 at 11:59 pm.

Please share this message with any past, current, or future players in the Adult grade who may be interested in taking part in this online Zoom meeting.
