On March 20, the Victoria Highland Games Association announced that due to the Provincial Health Officer banning all gatherings of more than 50 people until May 30 to address the COVID-19 virus situation, the Victoria Highland Games & Celtic Festival, originally scheduled for May 16 & 17, 2020 will be postponed until late summer.
Further details on the rescheduled festival including location, dates and schedule of events will be available by June. However, there will be no solo piping, solo drumming, or pipe band competitions at the rescheduled festival this year.
