The BC Pipers’ Association is proud to announce that the 2020 Boney Music Memorial Invitational Competition and Recital to raise funds for brain cancer research for the BC Cancer Foundation, is planned for Saturday February 15, 2020. The invited players for this year’s event are Jori Chisholm (2019 winner), Alastair Lee, Zephan Knichel, Alan Bevan, James Beaumont, and Gordon Conn.
This year, BCPA is very pleased to report that the event will be held in the Anderson Room of the Seaforth Armoury in Vancouver with the support and assistance of the Seaforth Highlanders of Canada Pipes & Drums and the Seaforth Highlanders of Canada Regimental Association.
Doors will open at 5:15 pm, with the performances to begin at 6:00 pm. Livestreaming will be available on the BC Pipers’ Association Facebook page. Bar service will be available at the venue and complimentary parking will be available in the onsite parkade directly east of the Seaforth Armoury.
BCPA is accepting donations at any time for the event for the BC Cancer Foundation and will issue Canadian charitable tax receipts for donations of $20 or more. Donations may be made at https://bcpipers.wildapricot.org/page-1157926 and enter “Boney Music Memorial Invitational” in the “What you desire your gift to support” field.
