As originally announced on September 18, 2018, the Annual General Meeting of the British Columbia Pipers’ Association will be on Saturday, November 17, 2018 from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm at Simon Fraser University, Burnaby Campus, 8888 University Dr, Burnaby, BC V5A 1S6.
The meeting will be located in Maggie Bentson Centre (MBC) Room 2290.
The Maggie Bentson Centre is directly across Convocation Mall from the SFU Library. Room 2290 is on the second floor which is one floor below the Convocation Mall entrance.
At site registration will begin at 1:30 pm.
Free parking will be available on the day from 12:00 pm till 11:59 pm at the EAST Parking Lot

The business for the meeting will be as indicated in Clause 5.3 of the BCPA By-Laws:
Elections will be held for two year terms for the President and five Directors. Candidates for election must be a current Active Member or a Life Member.
While BCPA welcomes members’ general service on the Board of Directors, we are specifically seeking members with the following related experience and/or expertise to fill the positions of two retiring Directors:
– information management, analysis & presentation
– membership and donors management
– performance band outreach and programs
– maintaining compliance with provincial laws pertaining to societies
Please note that attendees must be current members for the 2018/19 year or be representing a pipe band or highland games association which is a current member for the 2018/19 year.
