Following a year of consultations with pipe band leaders, Highland Games organizations, and other pipe band associations in North America, the BC Pipers’ Association is introducing the following significant changes beginning in the 2016/17 season.
- New and revised music requirements for Grades 5 and 4 band events
- Webinar on preparing for the new and revised music requirements for Grades 5 and 4
- Realignment of BCPA band grades calibre with RSPBA band grades calibre
- Regrading of BCPA region bands to the World standard
- Two pipe band events in every grade at BCPA sanctioned competitions
