Kevin McLean, 2015 BCPA Grade 1 Piping Grand Aggregate winner, captured the 2015 Nicol Brown Amateur Piping Invitational Championship on October 10 in Albany, NY.
Kevin placed 1st in the Piobaireachd, 2nd in the 6/8 Marches, and 3rd in the March, Strathspey & Reel. All events were adjudicated by Callum Beaumont, 2015 Northern Meeting Clasp winner.
Jack Toohey (2nd in the 2015 BCPA Grade 1 Piping Grand Aggregate standings) also competed in the competition.
The Nicol Brown competition, founded by Donald Lindsay, features the top Grade 1 pipers from across North America and is in its 33rd year.
