“The Roots of Scottish Folk Music” with Dr. Gary West Fundraiser

BCPA is bringing this Celtic Arts Foundation fundraising event to your attention.

“Join us for a fascinating presentation on the history of Scottish folk music, told in Dr. Gary West’s signature blend of music and lecture!

As our members know, the third weekend of May marks our annual Scotch-tasting Gala, the only major fundraising event of the year for the Celtic Arts Foundation (CAF). This event provides a significant source of funding that CAF uses to sustain our mission “to sponsor, encourage and promote Celtic Culture through events and educational activities.” The current global health crisis necessitates that we not hold this fundraiser in-person this year, but we are still inviting the community to join us for a virtual event and give what they can in the form of donations to help us weather this storm and provide Celtic events and education for years to come.

For a per-household price of $50 USD, we invite members to join us virtually for a presentation with Dr. Gary West. The link to his presentation will be emailed to all registrants on Saturday, May 16th and remain accessible through Sunday, May 17th so that guests may watch at their convenience. Additional donations beyond the $50 USD per household ticket are warmly welcomed and appreciated, especially so during these trying times when we cannot open the doors to the Littlefield Celtic Center.”
